Valeria Serrano Suzan

Graduate in Tourism Business Administration


She began her professional career in prestigious hotel chains, including Camino Real, Quinta Real and The Ritz Carlton, where she specialized in leisure sales, group sales, group and convention coordination, as well as weddings and DMC services.


In 2005, he founded CTA Event Design DMC in Cancun, with the aim of providing quality and excellence in the organization of corporate events in the destination. Under his leadership as CEO of CTA, the company is dedicated to the creation, coordination and operation of high-impact corporate events.


In 2020, it expanded its operations to Los Cabos, Mérida and Mexico City. In addition, it launched the CTA Leisure Travel division, focused on offering luxury leisure travel.

As founding president of the MPI Caribe Mexicano Chapter, she led the chapter to two RISE Awards: "Membership Achievement" in 2020 and "Innovating Educational Programming" in 2021. In 2022, she was recognized with the individual RISE Award "Meetings Industry Leadership" for her outstanding leadership in more than 28 years of experience in the industry.

In addition to her work in the sector, Valeria has contributed articles to the digital magazine Panorama Turístico, addressing topics on Meeting Tourism and the post-pandemic Reactivation of the Mexican Caribbean. She has also written for MPI Pulse Latin America magazine on the growth of the meetings industry in Latin America and for The Meeting Professionals Magazine on the dynamics of tourism in the region.

Complementing her training, Valeria has a postgraduate degree in Bioneuroemotion from the Enric Corbera Institute in Barcelona, endorsed in Mexico by the Ibero-American University of Torreón, and is a certified Mentor in heart coherence by the HeartMath Institute in California.
